Aaron Trocki and Maddie Jaudon present original research
Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics, and Maddie Jaudon, applied mathematics major, presented their research at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Conference in San Diego, California on Feb. 22-24, 2018.
Aaron Trocki and Maddie Jaudon were selected to present on their peer-reviewed paper entitled: "Surveying Professors’ Perceptions of Incorporating History into Calculus I Instruction." They shared data and findings on Calculus I professors in North Carolina and their beliefs and applications of incorporating the history of mathematics into teaching and learning.
