Virginia Novine Whittaker and Matthew Buckmaster present at JazzIt Festival in Montegrosso, Italy

Their presentation included an overview of Undergraduate Music programs in the U.S., suggestions for international students who are interested in auditioning for college-level music programs and examples of careers opportunities with an undergraduate music degree. 

Virginia Novine Whittaker, lecturer in music and Matthew Buckmaster, assistant dean of global education presented, "Best Practices in Undergraduate Music Education in the USA" at the JazzIt Festival in Montegrosso, Italy on June 23, 2018.

The presentation included an overview of undergraduate music programs in the U.S., suggestions for international students who are interested in auditioning for college-level music programs and examples of careers opportunities with an undergraduate music degree. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion with educators representing music programs from around the globe.
