Conklin to chair workshop, present paper
Megan Conklin, assistant professor in the Department of Computing Sciences, has had her paper titled "Beyond Low-Hanging Fruit: Seeking the Next Generation in FLOSS Data Mining" accepted for presentation at the Second International Conference on Open Source Systems. This conference is to be held in Como, Italy in June.
In addition to serving on the Program Committee for the conference, she is also co-chair of the co-located Workshop on Public Data about Software Development (WoPDaSD), along with Gregorio Robles and Jesus Gonzalez-Barahona of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. The goal of this workshop is to encourage the analysis of publicly-available software development data sources, as well as to foster the exchange of data between different research groups.
