Anderson's online research in NRJ
Research by Janna Quitney Anderson, a faculty member in the School of
Communications, and David Arant of the University of Memphis was published in the
Fall 2001 issue of Newspaper Research Journal. The article, "Newspaper Online
Editors Support Traditional Standards," covers the results of a survey of online
news editors working for traditional daily news organizations.
Anderson is also quoted in an article in the January/February issue of Quill magazine,
the publication of the Society of Professional Journalists. The article details
the decline of internship opportunities at newspapers. It mentions Anderson's
work with the Burlington Times-News, which gives Elon journalism students the
opportunity to write articles for the paper.
She was also quoted in the
January/February issue of the College Media Advisers newsletter in an article
about the rewards of advising student news organizations.
