Elon faculty, students attend Las Vegas conferences

Elon University was
well represented when the Radio-Television News Directors Association, Broadcast
Education Association and National Association of Broadcasters met simultaneously
April 4-7 in Las Vegas. A group of 20 faculty members and students were in attendance.
The events were packed with research presentations,
exhibits tailored to broadcast executives, educators, journalists and students
and what is billed as the "biggest and best broadcast technology show in the
world." Attendees were afforded great training and networking opportunities.
Major guest speakers and honorees included famed broadcast executive Don Ohlmeyer
and NBC anchor Tom Brokaw.
