Duffy moves up at Booth;
Seagraves to Foreign Policy


2002 graduate Suzanne George Duffy married Billy Duffy, a 2001 Elon graduate, this summer. She has been promoted to account executive for Travel and Lifestyle for M Booth and Associates in New York City, where she just helped open the $1.2 billion Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa. The joint venture of Boyd Gaming and MGM Mirage is the first hotel to open in Atlantic City in more than 13 years. She also handles Booth's accounts with other MGM Mirage properties, Yahoo! Audrey Seagraves has been named public relations/promotions coordinator at Foreign Policy magazine. In addition to her work at the D.C.-area publication, she intends to take some graduate school courses. A 2002 communications and journalism major, she spent the past year as the media intern for The Population Institute in Washington. Her first day of work at Foreign Policy consisted of sailing near Annapolis (it was a celebration of the magazine's National Magazine Award). Stephen Herbster is now in charge of Avid video editing for the Carolina Panthers National Football League team, based in Charlotte. Since his graduation from Elon in 1993, he has worked creating content for Jumbotrons, television and in-house promotions for a number of organizations, including Fox 8 TV in High Point, N.C., Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and the Information Television Network. He was director of video services for the Atlantic Coast Conference, and he is leaving a position as Avid editor for the Memphis Grizzlies to join the Panthers.

Allison Oskin is working her way up the television news ladder. After spending a year in market number 149 producing the 5 p.m. newscast for WVVA-TV in Bluefield, W.Va., then moving up to producing WVVA's 6 and 11 p.m. shows, 2002 graduate Oskin is going to WFTX-TV in Fort Myers, Fla., to produce three weekday shows and the10 p.m. weekend news blocks.
