Elon's
chapter of the communications honors society Lambda Pi Eta will
host two more events this spring.
Lambda Pi Eta,
a National Communication Association group, was founded in 1985
at the University of Arkansas. Elon has had a chapter for a number
of years - it is one of 300 chapters active at colleges and universities
worldwide.
The group's
initiation ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 16.
Lambda Pi Eta students will host its final social get-together and
a special student showcase May 6 in the School of Communications.
The group has
also announced it is raising its membership fee to $50.
