Linda
Lashendock, a two-decade veteran of CNN, has joined Elon University
as its coordinator of Television Services.
Lashendock
worked for CNN for 21 years, the last six years as manager of news
production in the Washington bureau. She traveled the world as the
lead producer/editor for White House coverage during the presidencies
of Ronald Reagan, G.H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
In the course
of her CNN career, she also worked as a producer and videotape editor
for the business news program "Moneyline" and worked on CNN documentaries.
"I am excited
to have Linda leading the Office of Television Services and working
alongside the School of Communications," said School of Communications
Dean Paul Parsons. "She has a passion for sharing her experience,
and is a tremendous resource for our students."
