major Andrew High, a freshman Communications Fellow, was named "Newcomer
of the Year" at the 2004 Organizational Awards hosted by Elon
University's Student Government Association.
High was selected from
among dozens of nominees from more than 100 Elon student organizations
for the honor.
He is sports editor
of The Pendulum and president of Elon's chapter of the Society of
Professional Journalists.
