School of Communications faculty members David Copeland and Anthony Hatcher are the co-editors of "Mass Communication in the Global Age," a text tailored for use in introduction to mass communications courses.

The book is being used as a text for Elon University courses.

Published by Vision Press of Northport, Ala., the book, a compilation of works by scholarly contributors from many institutions, includes chapters written by two Elon faculty members. The section on law was researched and written by Brooke Barnett, and the section on new technologies is by Connie Book.
