Lee earns Fulbright;
to teach in South Korea

Byung Lee, an associate professor Elon University's School of Communications, has been competitively selected to serve as a Fulbright professor in his native country, South Korea, for the 2004-05 academic year. Lee will teach Web communications courses at Hankook University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, and he expects to also conduct research there during the fall and spring terms.

His nomination was approved by the Korean Fulbright Board and previously had been approved by the U.S. Fulbright Scholarship Board in Washington.

Lee was in line for a Fulbright to Singapore last year, but the SARS epidemic caused a delay.
