Bruce Hinton, the long-time chairman of MCA Nashville - the country
music label that includes Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood
and George Strait - visited Elon Oct. 4.
Hinton he spoke in Don Grady's Audio Production course, Rich Landesberg's
Communications in a Global Society class and David Copeland's Great
Ideas capstone class. He was also the special guest at a faculty/staff
luncheon
Hinton worked as general manager, president and then chairman of
MCA Nashville for 19 years before retiring in 2002. His son, Blake,
is a communications major at Elon.
