Paul Parsons
and Brooke Barnett of the School of Communications took part in
a panel discussion April 27 in Whitley Auditorium on academic freedom
in the context of University of Colorado ethnic studies professor
Ward Churchill's controversial public statements. They were joined
as panelists by Lee Barnes, editor of the Burlington Times-News,
Elon philosophy professor Yoram Lubling and Elon religious studies
professor Jeff Pugh.
School of Communications
faculty member John Guiniven addressed the Greenville-Spartanburg
Advertising and Public Relations Club April 19 on "The Ethical Climate
of Public Relations."
