Students presenting research
at NCUR '05 in Blacksburg

A number of School of Communications students will travel with Elon University's group to Blacksburg, Va., to present their research at the 2005 National Conference on Undergraduate Research April 20-23.

The group of students mentored by faculty members from the School of Communications includes Adam Smith, whose project was mentored by Brooke Barnett; Lindsay Porter, mentored by Janna Anderson; Ellis Harman, Julia Smith and Cassandra Srozinzki, mentored by Jessica Gisclair; and Kim Hayes, mentored by Michael Frontani.

This is the fourth consecutive year that an Elon student project mentored by Anderson has been presented at NCUR. All four projects have been tied to internet research. Anderson is the director of internet projects for the School of Communications.

A total of forty-seven Elon University students mentored by 23 Elon faculty members will participate in NCUR this spring.
