Cheek named interim
internship director

Jala Anderson, School of Communications internship director, is relocating her career back to her home area around Chicago, where she will work for a pharmaceutical company. Her last day at Elon will be March 31.

Brittain Cheek, current director of student support and alumni outreach, will take over Anderson's position on an interim basis as of April 1. Cheek is a 2001 Elon graduate in corporate communications.

Before returning to Elon, she spend eight years working in the human resources division of Cessna Aircraft Co. in Greensboro. She earned a management certificate at Duke in 2002, and is completing a master's degree through a Western Carolina University online program.
