The School
of Communications hosted a Greensboro Chamber of Commerce diversity
group March 18 for lunch and a day-long session on religion and
faith.
The organization's
"Other Voices" diversity group includes managers and leaders from
Greensboro representing American Express, WFMY-TV, Guilford County
Schools, Women's Resource Center, United Way, FaithAction International
House, Welfare Reform Liaison Project, Lorillard Tobacco Company,
Moses Cone Health System, Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center,
and the City of Greensboro.
Dean Paul Parsons
welcomed the group and thanked Jala Anderson, director of internships
and special projects in the School of Communications, for coordinating
the event on Elon's campus.

Richard McBride was the featured speaker at the luncheon - the theme
of the "Other Voices" program in March was "Diversity in Faith."
