REAL-WORLD INTERNSHIPS
Recent experiences
School of Communications
students are required to earn an internship or to log a formalized
professional workplace experience. Students doing internships for
credit opt for 1, 2, 3 or 4 credits, depending upon the demands
of the particular job and/or the student's need for credit hours.
Brittain Cheek, internship director for the School of Communications,
spends a lot of time on the road making site visits at locations
across the United States to ensure the quality of internship experiences.
The feedback she gets from people supervising Elon students is overwhelmingly
positive. They often say Elon students are the best interns they
have ever employed, and they ask us for more.
