Social Science Fellows

The social sciences are all about people -- everything from psychology, sociology and human services to history, political science and public administration.

The Elon College Fellows program is designed specifically for those who want to explore the liberal arts and sciences. Sixty academically talented students are selected for this program each year. At the end of the sophomore year, Fellows choose a major and enter one of three discipline-based programs: arts and humanities, social sciences, or math and science.

Social Science Fellows select a major in one of the following:
Minors are also available in the above areas, in addition to the following: Social Science Fellows choose a faculty mentor and do original research within their area of interest. Fellows also take a yearlong seminar, "Scholarship at Work: Research in the Social Sciences," and are eligible for research and study abroad grants.

Click on the links at the left to learn what Social Science Scholars have to say about doing research at Elon.
