Brief Biography
Originally from a small town near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, I was a first-generation college student and had no idea what to expect from the college search process. After some extensive research and hard work, I came to Elon as a freshman in 2008 dreaming of a journalism career. After taking “Sociology Through Film” during my first winter term, though, I decided to change my major to sociology and never looked back. As a student, I was President of a Greek organization and worked as a student tour guide. I graduated early (in 3 and a half years!) in the winter of 2012 and started my job in admissions 3 weeks later.
In my free time I love to read, take naps, and hang out with my roommates. Additionally, I recently adopted a husky puppy named Dakota who takes up most of my time. I also love to travel and have been to almost all of the 50 states.
I’m so excited to help you with your own college search. If there’s anything I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
