Haya Ajjan earned her MBA and PhD from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. Her research focuses on better understanding the impact of technology use on individuals, groups, and organizations. In particular, she is interested in understanding the role of emerging technologies such as wikis, blogs, and social networks in management information systems. Her research has appeared in International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making, The Internet and Higher Education, Information Resources Management Journal, and multiple regional and national conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems, American Conference on Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education, and International Council for Small Business. She has also worked on consulting projects with Duke Energy and with Information Services at the University of North Carolina at Charotte.
