As a graduate of Elon, I have experienced the dedication to excellence that is a hallmark of Elon's faculty.
It has been an honor to return and to support teacher candidates as they explore, learn, and grow into outstanding teachers. My desire is to help them embrace students with special needs in both general and special education classrooms. I want them to see and nurture the strengths and potential in every student.
Why the piano? Music has been a huge part of my life from a young age. I encourage my students to pursue their passions, even in the midst of busy teaching careers. Teaching is a high calling, and it is important for teachers to care for themselves as they give freely to others.
