I am currently working on a book manuscript based on dissertation research examining Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride parades in the U.S.
I am also starting work on two new projects. For the first, I investigate public opinion change through interviews with North Carolinians who have changed their minds about same-sex marriage. For the second, I will look into the international protest response to recent Russian laws that drastically restrict speech in support of LGBT rights.
