Brief Biography
Originally from Williamsburg, VA, I came to Elon to persue a degree in Communications in the fall of 2006. Like many students, something just felt right when I visited, and I haven't looked back since!
I love working with people and communicating targeted messages, which led to a major in Strategic Communications with advertising and international concentrations. I was blessed with the opportunity to study abroad in Denmark in the Spring of 2009, where I further honed my international communication skills. Coincidentally, I also fell in love with Danish language and culture... "Jeg elsker Danmark!" I was bitten by the travel bug and have since enjoyed exploring more of the US, but hope to continue international travel someday. As a student, I was involved with New Student Orientation, several communications organizations, and served as a student tour guide. I also was a Periclean Scholar, and enjoy our continuing partnership with a rural healthcare center in Ghana.
On a personal note, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the great outdoors (both beach and mountains), reading, cooking, and, of course, traveling. I certainly found my home at Elon and am passionate about helping students find where they bELONg. If I can assist in the admissions process in any way, please let me know!
