With about a decade as a law librarian for public services at Fordham University’s law school, Kathleen McLeod came to Elon’s faculty also with a teaching background in advanced legal research. She had served as an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s law school and at New York Law School, where she had been a librarian as well.
McLeod graduated from the Washington University School of Law in 1982 and earned her master’s of library science from Southern Connecticut State University in 1990. She first studied history and library science as an undergraduate at Syracuse University.
Kathleen McLeod practiced law in Connecticut at two different firms in the 1980s, with emphasis on family law.
