I am interested in the exercise response of children and older adults having orthpedic, neurological or cognitive imvolvement.

Grants Awarded

GRANTS

Teaching and Learning Grant from CAT-L at Elon University. The grant was funced in October 2009 and was titled: “Student Engagement in a Physical Therapy Service Learning Program "Clients to Lab." The grant was funded for the amount of $1200.00 to pay for  a physical therapist to assist in the exercise training labs in DPT 706.

 

With Dr. Teresa Connor-Kerr, we were recipients of an Elon Faculty  Research and Development grant for $4570.00. Title of the project is “Effects of Acute Hyperglycemic Conditions on Fibroblast Functions of Migration and Tissue Matrix Contraction.”
