Brief Biography


Professor Butler-Storsved has nine years of experience as a public school teacher and coach and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  She teaches a variety of courses in health, physical activity and coaching.  Professor Butler-Storsved coordinates the department’s activity courses and Coaching Minor.  She also serves as the Director of Evening Athletic Curriculum for the Elon Academy.  Her interests include preparing the coaches of the future and the development of maintenance of students’ full wellness: body, mind and spirit.  Professor Butler-Storsved earned her M.A. in Physical Education with a Specialization in Coach from Ball State University.
