Brief Biography
Dr. Paula M. Weller has over 14 years of teaching experience and 20 years of private and public accounting experience. She started teaching at Elon in 1998 as an Adjunct Instructor, becoming a full-time Instructor in 2000, and then a full-time Lecturer in 2007 to present. She also taught adjunct classes for UNC Greensboro, North Carolina A & T State University, and Alamance Community College. Prior to her teaching career, she was CFO, Treasurer of Weaver Investment Company in Greensboro, NC and other accounting roles in the affiliated companies, such as Weaver Realty Company and the Weaver Foundation. She was also a Tax Accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Greensboro and a Staff Accountant for Texfi Industries in Greensboro, NC. She is a CPA and real estate broker.
