Brief Biography
Professor Blue joined Elon University as an Adjunct Mathematics and Statistics faculty member in the Fall of 2011. Prior to joining Elon he taught at Davidson County Community College as a full time member of the Mathematics and Computer Science faculty for nine years, and at Greensboro College as an Adjunct Mathematics faculty member for two years. Prior to his teaching career he had a career of 31 years at Western Electric/AT&T as a Software Engineer.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.
Master of Applied Mathematics with a minor in Statistics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Service Activities
Professor Blue has served on the board of Crimestoppers of Alamance County, the board of Loaves and Fishes Christian Food Ministry, the board of the Burlington Traffic Commission and the board of the Burlington Kiwanis Club.
