Doug came to Elon in the Fall of 1995. He has taught numerous courses in economics (including Principles, Stats, Micro, Environmental), and General Studies (GST110 and GST394 -- Sports: Business and Entertainment). Prior to being at Elon he taught at Colgate University (1989 - 1992), Virginia Commonwealth University (1992 - 1993) and Franklin & Marshall College (1993 - 1995).
He has mentored senior theses and SURE projects in the areas of environmental, education and sports economics.
He is married to Naomi, and they have twins born in 2010 (Lily and Ian).
