Janice Richardson is passionate about education and has spent most of her time at Elon University in service. She received the Outstanding Service Award in the School of Education in 2012 and has served as the math education program coordinator in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.. As Co-Investigator of an NSF Elon University Noyce Scholars grant, she is dedicated to recruitment of prospective mathematics teachers, research into best practices, and support of teachers during their induction years. Janice loves to travel. She spent the 1993 spring semester in London with Elon students and then when the opportunity came again in 2008, she taught and studied with students in Costa Rica. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing bridge, and conversational Spanish.
