Brief Biography

Dr. Morrison spent eleven years as a 6th grade English and social studies teacher in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.  While a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he taught courses on culturally responsive teaching, foundations of education, contemporary issues in social studies research, and social studies methods for middle grades.

Dr. Morrison joined the faculty of Elon University in August 2013.
