Dr. Sharon Spray is the current Chair of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Environmental Studies.  Her major field of research is in the area of environmental politics. She has co-edited a series of books on environmental challenges for Roman and Littlefield Press and is currently researching the influence of elite narratives on environmental policy in the domestic and international arenas.  She teaches courses that coincide with her research interests including, environmental policy and law, international environmental politics and resource conflicts.  She also teaches courses on the United States Presidency and Congress.  Dr. Spray holds a B.A. from the University of Montana, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Politics from The Claremont Graduate University.
