Brief Biography

Dr. Sharon Spray is the current Chair of the Department of Political Science and Policy Studies and she holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Environmental Studies.  Her major field of research is in the area of environmental politics. She has co-edited a series of books on environmental challenges for Roman and Littlefield Press and is currently researching the affects of globalization on international environmental treaty development.  She teaches courses that coincide with her research interests including, environmental policy and law, international environmental politics and resource conflicts.  She also teaches courses on the United States Presidency and Congress.  Dr. Spray holds a B.A. from the University of Montana, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Politics from The Claremont Graduate University.
