FOX-8 report features Elon Law, Innocence Project
Elon Law students working with theInnocence Project were featured during a Nov. 24 report onWGHP FOX-8's 10 p.m., newscast.

FOX-8 reporter Leah Beno visited withstudents Jon Dunsmoor, Drew Nettleman, Maggy Vaughn andEleftherios Xixis on Nov. 8. Elon students are workingwith faculty advisors Steve Friedland and Catherine Dunham,as well as Chris Mumma, executive director of the N.C. Centeron Actual Innocence, to examine selected cases involvingpotentially innocent people who are serving prison terms.
Beno's story included interviews with Dunsmoor,Nettleman, Vaughn and Xixis, as well as Friedland. Beno andFOX-8 are planning future reports throughout the2007-2008 academic year on the Innocence Project and the workof Elon law students.
