Elon University's Center for Environmental Studies Hosts Feline Conservation Foundation Workshop
Elon University's Center for Environmental Studies hosted a Wild Feline Husbandry and Conservation Workshop on Nov. 6, 2010.
This workshop was facilitated by the Feline Conservation Foundation, and conducted by Mindy Stinner (the Conservator's Center in Mebane, NC) and Kim Pyne (Department of English). This workshop was well-attended and participants included Elon University students, professionals and private citizens hailing from several states in the southeastern US.
Feline Conservation Federation (FCF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that consists of wild feline managers, educators, conservationists, researchers, and all those who support the mission of feline conservation.
Conservators' Center is a nonprofit organization that preserves threatened species through responsible captive breeding, rescuing wildlife in need, and providing educational programs and support worldwide.
Elon University’s Center for Environmental Studies is devoted to providing opportunities for students and faculty to work with outside partners on projects focused on environmental education and stewardship.
