Summer Nanny Opportunity Available

Looking for an engaging nanny who will become part of our family for the summer and possibly beyond. Ideal candidate will be a mentor and teacher with strong values system who can engage with and motivate my rising 5th grade daughter throughout the summer (June-August 2013). Responsibilities will include developing a weekly activities plan, planning for and implementing engaging activities; preparing meals and snacks; driving to and from activities; outdoor activities (swimming, biking, etc.). Light housekeeping/ errands are part of this position.

The ideal candidate has/is:
a love of children
experience with elementary/middle school-aged children
creative, energetic and fun-loving
responsible, reliable and punctual
non-smoker
must provide references
clean driving record/reliable transportation
First aid and CPR certification required

This position is 5 days a week (M-F) from 7:45 to 5:15 each day. [Position could carry into the school year with after-school pick up and care.] We live less than 2 miles from the university and offer excellent pay for the perfect person.
