Burlington Times-News: Be an open government watchdog with smartphone app

The app, released by The Sunshine Center of the North Carolina Open Government Coalition, provides citizens of the state information about public records and open meetings wherever they are. The app, called “Sunshine,” will help bridge the gap between seekers and holders of public government records, and it’s available for download in both the iTunes App Store and Android Market. Just type “NC Sunshine” in the search field to find the app easily, according to a press release.
