Beautiful diamond and red garnet ring

Help me propose before 2014!

I bought this gorgeous garnet and diamond ring as an engagement ring. It’s a great ring, and it's never been worn. The garnet is a beautiful, deep red that sparkles in the light. The pave and halo make it shine so much you need sunglasses. My problem is that I did a little snooping on my girlfriend’s Pinterest account, and found her secret pinboard with dozens of photos for a different stone and cut (oops!). I want to get the ring she loves and deserves, and while this one isn’t the one for her, it could be for you. I’m putting my original idea up for sale to buy her the ring she’s going to wear forever.

The is a ladies garnet and diamond ring consisting of one (1) 10 x 10mm checkerboard antique square cut AA grade Mozambique garnet (4.6 carats). It’s very red, and looks incredible in sunlight. The garnet is surrounded by thirty two (32) .005 carat precision full cut diamonds and accented by eleven (11) diamonds on each side of the band. All diamonds weigh a total of .27 carats, and are G color, have VS1 clarity, and are prong set in 14K white gold. The current size is 8.25, but can be easily resized by any jeweler.

It comes with the original appraisal from my jeweler. The appraisal lists the ring’s value at $1956, but I’m willing to part ways with it for $600 obo. Please contact mvaughn3@elon.edu with any questions or offers.
