KCSL: Pleasant Grove Elementary School seeks help implementing new programs
Pleasant Grove Elementary School seeks two volunteers to assist with implementing two new programs this spring.
Pleasant Grove Elementary School is implementing two new programs. The programs are BRICCS (Building Relationships is Inherent to a College and Career Start) and STAR-L (Students Taking Academic Responsibility through Leadership). They are seeking volunteers on a one-time or recurring basis for the spring 2014 semester.
They are looking for volunteers, specifically elementary education majors, to help with completing the framework, lesson plans, presentations to the group and organizing two parent workshops during the 3 months. Also, data collection is key, thus tools to capture data before and after will also be very helpful. The school hopes the BRICCS program will be a model to be used in the other schools in our system.
The project begins February 1, 2014 and ends June, 2014. If interested in volunteering with Pleasant Grove Elementary School, please contact Rhonda Robinson at 336.421.3701 or at Rhonda_robinson@abss.k12.nc.us.
