Glenda Crawford a panelist at the 29th Emerging Issues Forum

The professor of education was quoted by the (Raleigh, N.C.) News & Observer as part of the daily newspaper's coverage of the event.  

Glenda Crawford, a professor in the School of Education and director of Teaching Fellows at Elon University, was an invited panelist at the 29th Emerging Issues Form held in Raleigh, N.C., from Feb. 10-11, 2014.

This year’s Forum focused on the theme "Teachers and The Great Economic Debate." Sharing the panel with Tyronna Hooker, director of district and community partnerships for Teach for America in Eastern North Carolina, Crawford addressed the topic of how to recruit and retain good teachers in North Carolina.

The News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C., reported on the forum and included observations from Crawford as part of its coverage.
