KCSL: Volunteers for MDA lock-up event

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) needs volunteers for its largest lock-up event of the year on Wednesday, March 5 for a three to four hour shift between 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will be holding its largest lock-up event of the year in Alamance County and needs YOU to volunteer.

Event Date: Wednesday, March 5

Place : Burlington Police & Fire Training Center: 212 Stone Quarry Road, Haw River, NC  27258

Volunteers needed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with the exception of drivers.

MDA will accept three to four hour shifts of volunteers to help with:

  • Orientation,

  • Greeting

  • Registration

  • Photos and prep work

  • Mailroom from 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
