Syndicated columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. visits March 9
Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. will provide the keynote address Monday evening for the daylong "Faith, Doubt and the Media" conference at Elon University. Tickets are still on sale for the general public; students, faculty and staff attend for free with their Elon ID.

Pitts will discuss God as he has addressed Him in his column and, in the larger sense, about the difficulty as a journalist of reconciling a progressive stance on social issues with Christian faith. This will be the keynote address of the Elon Religion and Media Conference, a day of discussion between students, faculty and regional correspondents.
