KCSL: The Village at Brookwood Retirement Community
The Village at Brookwood Retirement Community is looking for volunteers to help with a number of tasks:
- Receptionist: greet, deliver trays, help aides, help residents with meal time
- Wheelchair Aides: help residents to get to special events in the community. Includes lifting, moving and pushing wheelchairs
- Shopping Companions: meet residents at Harris Teeter, shop with residents and return to the community to help unload items
- Wii Game Players: play Wii games with seniors
- "Computer Guru": help seniors with basic computer "know how"- email, Google, Microsoft word, photos
- Performers- singers, dancers, group performers
