Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, led a presentation at the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting on April 26 in Orlando, Fla.

Speaking to the Small Schools Affinity Group, Gowan’s talk, “Re-visioning: Lessons Learned,” focused on how the re-visioning process in the Love School of Business culminated in a vision statement, new mission statement, and a values statement that has been key to the school’s strategic planning and curriculum review. Gowan’s talk also addressed ways to build and sustain faculty support in the re-visioning process.

The Love School of Business’s accreditation by the AACSB, the highest possible in business education, caps a five-year initiative to make major investments and improvements in the quality of the school’s business programs.
