 Pam Kiser, who has been a member of the human services department since 1981, was promoted to full professor. She has a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and a master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

 Anthony Weston, a member of the philosophy department since 1992, was promoted to full professor. He has a bachelor's degree from Macalester College, and master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Michigan. |

 James Brown, who has been at Elon since 1994, was promoted to associate professor of history. He holds bachelor's and doctoral degrees from the University of Minnesota. |

Pranab Das II, a member of the physics department since 1993, was promoted to associate professor. He holds a bachelor's degree from Reed College and a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. |

 Brad Hamm, who first joined Elon in 1989, was promoted to associate professor of journalism/communications. He holds a bachelor's degree from Catawba College, a master's degree from the University of South Carolina and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

 Catherine King, a member of the faculty since 1993, was promoted to associate professor of psychology. She holds bachelor's and doctoral degrees from the University of California and a master's degree from Northwestern University. |
