Holiday Celebration with Luminaries
Scott Plaza, 6:30 p.m.

Hot chocolate, carol singing and hundreds of luminaries lining the walkways will mark Elon's annual Festival of Holiday Lights.

Department of Music presents élan~elon university vocal jazz
McCrary Theatre, 7:30 p.m.

Jazz standards, popular songs and ballads from a variety of artists including Steely Dan, Earth, Wind and Fire, Chicago and others will be performed, complete with rhythm and horn sections. Directed by Stephen Futrell.

Moravian Christmas Love Feast and Candle Service
Elon Community Church, 5:00 p.m.

Brought from Germany to Old Salem, North Carolina, by early Moravian settlers, this traditional Christmas service includes the children's carol "Morning Star," pure beeswax candles, and a simple fellowship meal of coffee and a Moravian bun.

Department of Music presents Celebration of Light
Whitley Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

The Elon University Camerata, Elon's premier choral ensemble, will perform a concert of a cappella works from centuries of choral art in celebration of the holiday spirit. Narration from the collected works of T.S. Eliot, holiday decorations, candlelight processional and Camerata's singing will warm your heart. Directed by Stephen Futrell.

Donald L. Oehler, clarinet, Benjamin Rawitz, piano, & Jonathan Bagg, viola
Whitley Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

Donald L. Oehler, clarinetist and Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Benjamin Rawitz, pianist and member of the Royal Brussels Conservatory in Brussels, Belgium, and Jonathan Bagg, violist and a member of the Ciompi Sting Quartet at Duke University, will present a program of chamber music. These distinguished musicians will perform works from Norbert Burgmüller, Max Reger, and Harald Genzmer.

North Carolina Symphony Holiday Pops
Koury Center, 8:00 p.m.

This annual holiday tradition makes everything bright with joyful music by the North Carolina Symphony. Bring the whole family and get into the spirit of the season with this much-loved festive concert featuring your favorite carols!

Admission by ticket only: $18.00; $15.00 for seniors or Elon ID. Free for children with paying adults. Tickets available November 18.*
