    Young alumni have made $207,972 in gifts and pledges to Elon since June 1, generously giving back to their alma mater and becoming members of IGNITE, the university's annual giving group for graduates of the past decade. These gifts are part of the Ever Elon Campaign to build the endowment.

    American School & University magazine has recognized the design of the Colonnades Dining Hall in its 2008 Architectural Portfolio competition. The Colonnades, designed by Spillman Farmer Architects, was among 71 projects receiving outstanding design awards in the post-secondary division.
