 When Elon University completed an academic reorganization in 2000, Elon
College, the College of Arts and Sciences, was created to give prominence
to the programs that form the foundation for the undergraduate experience.
NewCentury@Elon includes major investments in the historically strong arts
and sciences programs, with new connections between the liberal arts and
the growing professional schools. The enhanced academic environment is
enabling Elon to continue to attract and retain the best faculty and challenge
students to develop as critical thinkers dedicated to lifelong learning.
