The Princeton Review has named Elon to its 2005 "The
Best 357 Colleges" list, which honors the top schools
among the nation's 3,500 colleges and universities. |
Kaplan,
Inc., names Elon one of "331 Most
Interesting Colleges" and one of 30 "hidden
treasure" universities in the nation.
The 2006 edition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges, one of the nation's top-selling college guides, lists Elon among 28 of the nation's "best buy" private colleges and universities. The guide also says that Elon is a "rapidly rising star among liberal arts colleges in the Southeast and an emerging name nationwide."

A report by The Education Trust ranks Elon University graduation rates
among the best in the nation. Elon's six-year graduation rate for
all students of 71 percent ranks in the top 8 percent of U.S. master's-level
schools; for African-American students, Elon's six-year graduation
rate of 72 percent ranks #7 in the country.

The Policy Center on the First Year of College
has named Elon one of 13 Institutions of Excellence in the First College
Year.
