Students hold candlelight vigil

About 400 students gathered on Young Commons Sept. 14 for a candlelight vigil to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks.

The vigil was organized by the Student Government Association. A large American flag was hung from the balcony of Koury Center, and students gathered around the entrance to the building to pray and sing songs.

SGA President Trey Bolton recalled the week's tramatic events, and Fr. John Ruffo and Ray Crompton of the Religious Life office offered prayers.

Students from campus singing groups Twisted Measure, Sweet Signatures and MSG led the crowd in song.
